How do I start a blog? Any tips?

I say just go for it! Think of a name you want to use for your blog, pick a blogging format (blogspot, wordpress & tumblr are all fantastic), set up your page and get to it! If you’re confused by all of the options or any tech terms, find a computer savvy pal and ask her/him for help. Blog about what makes YOU happy - readers tend to be able to filter out the real from the fake. Plus, wouldn’t you want to read/see posts from genuine love and enthusiasm over a desire to get more followers? I definitely do! Be yourself, have an actual love for blogging and enjoy it!

What do you mean when you say you’re a professional actor?

I mean that I’m a proud member of an acting union, am professionally represented and audition/perform at a certain level. Once you join one of the major unions, you can no longer perform in shows outside of that union. For example, I can’t act in a community theatre or school show. Unions also provide standards for how many hours you can work, how many shows happen in one week (for theatre) and have rules for money and insurance. Acting and singing are the loves of my life and I couldn’t be more excited to be living my dream.

If you’re really an actor, why do you also life coach?

I realized that the reason I love performing and show business so much is because it helps humans see things in a new light. Creative people tend to view situations, people and the world differently than others and I believe it is crucial to explore all sides of everything. I also believe that creativity is crucial to our lives and feel it is imperative for the youth of the world to get school programs like art, music, theatre and so on. I also believe adults should work to keep these things in their lives by attending live shows, dancing in their living rooms, playing music that ranges from classical to present day rock. Creativity has always led me to positivity and positive thinking has changed my life. In short: life coaching and performing are both ways that I believe I can positively influence the world I am a part of. They are also both ways in which I learn more about myself, grow as a human and gain joy. I do not believe that one takes away from the other but instead, that they add even more to the other and to my life as a whole.

Who the heck is Henry?

Henry is my little puppy-man! He is my two year old pup whom I love more than anything. You’ll see tons of pictures and writing about him here. He is one of my greatest teachers and I am forever grateful to have him in my life. When considering getting a pet, remember to ADOPT & NOT SHOP. Get educated on puppy mills, where pet stores get their animals from, the importance of spaying & neutering your pets and the incredible responsibility of owning a pet. Be KIND to animals, aim to buy products that are not animal tested (look for the bunny with heart ears symbol!) & encourage your friends to do the same. Henry & I thank you so, so much! :)
