And The Beauty Is.
Internet, meet my new bff: Japanese Washi Tape.

I’ve been stalking these beautiful babies out for awhile but never knew exactly where to order them from. Enter in the CB2 catalogue.

My first task: hang up some prints I had ordered over a year ago. A year ago! Since I didn’t know what to do with them & didn’t want to mess up the walls in the place that I rent, I sort of shuffled them from tabletop to desktop and back again. For a year. But not anymore!

How great do these prints look above my bed?
The beauty of Washi is that it doesn’t rip, smudge or affect anything it is stuck to (so you can put it on photos with no fear of tearing them later) AND that it can be used in so many design facets. That was your warning that so many more posts are coming about projects I plan on doing.
After purchasing my first set at CB2, I spied some more over at Anthropologie and if you’re more of an online type of shopper, you can score endless varieties of Washi tape at Cute Tape.
(Prints via Fifi du Vie available on Etsy. Check out her work!)
